Dr. Poonam Khetrapal Singh (born in 1962) is an Indian famous personality and the Regional Director WHO from India. She is well-known as the first woman, who becomes the regional director of the Worlds Health Organization (WHO) for South-East Asia.
She holds the position of RD on February 1st, 2014. Because of her work and experience, she became the regional director again for the second time in January 2019.
On 19 March 2020, Dr. Poonam warns people about staging the coronavirus. She also said that the virus has taken a terrible turn. You all have to face this virus. The doctor advised people to stay at home and keep some distance from each other and keep cleanliness.
