Thembi Seete (born March 25, 1977) is a South African Actress, Singer, Musician, Presenter, and Instagram Star from Soweto. She started her career as one of the members of a musical group which later split after working for several years.
The name of her band was “Boom Shaka” which split in 2000. As an actress, Thembi made her acting debut with a minor role in the 2020 drama/crime movie “Hijack Stories”. She rose to fame after starring in the TV series “Yizo Yizo” aired on SABC1.
The singer also recorded the soundtrack “Sure Ntombazana” for Yizo Yizo 2. Seete also got an opportunity to work as Lerato in the drama series “Gaz’lam” which was a drama series at SABC1.
In addition, the actress also landed for a role of Pumla in the 2006 TV movie “Crossing the Line”. The same year, she also participated in the drama program “Mtunzini.com” Season 3 as Lily.
Her performance in the lead role as Nina Moloi in SABC1’s “Zone 14” also appreciated by fans. In 2015, the actress also became popular for portraying the character Bongi in the soap opera on e.tv called “Rhythm City”.

In 2007, she launched a romantic affair with her then-boyfriend, Bobo “Bo” Seritsane. He also proposed the singer back in 2012 in a private ceremony. Unfortunately, the couple broke up with each other due to some personal reasons after staying for ten years together.
