After completing her graduation, she began her first job as a reporter and anchor at KPVI News 6. From June 2019 to July 2022, Dani worked as the Chief Meteorologist for KTNV Channel 13. Moreover, she previously worked as a morning meteorologist for WFTX FOX 4 in Fort Myers, Florida. 

While in Florida, Beckstrom gained experience in both tropical meteorology and severe weather. In September 2017, she also substantially kept southwest Florida safe and informed during Hurricane Irma on Marco Island. Dani gained experience in blizzards and deadly heat over the years. 

She was ready to take on the duty of readying the citizens of Southern Nevada for whatever Mother Nature threw at her. Since August 2022, Dani is working as a meteorologist for ABC7 in New York. She was delighted to be joining the ABC7 newsroom. Before joining ABC7, Beckstrom worked as an evening meteorologist for KTNV in Las Vegas.
