On April 16, 2020, the model found dead in her home in Austin, Texas, the USA along with a suicide note. Her death news was first posted by TMZ. According to the publication, the former playboy playmate struggled with substance abuse.
Mattingly’s sister “Christy Mattingly” broke the news that she attempted to take her own life on Wednesday last week. However, the police confirmed that Ashley Mattingly passed away on April 17, 2020, after conducting a wellness check.
As per the source, a friend of hers called the authorities of the Austin Police Department in order to check on Ashley after she stopped talking to any of her friends. But the police found her unresponsive at her home.
