Sarra Elizabeth Gilbert (born January 17, 1989) is an American Convicted Murderer, Mental Patient, and Controversial Personality from New York City. She first garnered huge public attention after killing her own mother, Mari Gilbert.
Mari used to work as an American murder victim advocate and social activist. She became famous after Mari started advocating and investigating the murder of her then 24-years-old daughter named Shannan Gilbert (sex worker).
Gibert led to discover 10 homicide victims whose bodies were scattered along Ocean Parkway in New York. Soon, she along with her other children began to appear on various TV series.
A new Netflix movie called “Lost Girls” was released on March 13, 2020, which is based on Gilbert’s family. Liz Garbus worked as a director of the film and screenplay was done by Michael Werwie.
