On January 28, 2004, Jayson was accused of exposing his penis to young ladies, including a 16-year-old girl, at Rifle Fireside Lanes bowling alley in Rifle. Boebert was at the bowling alley’s snack bar while the two young women discussed their tattoos. He overheard the discussion and added, briefing them he had a tattoo on his genitals. 

The women turned away from him to ignore Jayson, but he came up to them, unzipped his pants, and disclosed his genitals. The bowling alley owner then called the police after Boebert refused to leave. Later, he claimed guilty to public indecency and indecent exposure. Then he was convicted to two years of probation and four days in jail.
